Hey there, folks! It’s your buddy Domestic Dan here, and I’m still reeling from the news that Rob Reiner passed away this morning. As a stay-at-home dad, I’ve had my fair share of movie nights with the family, and Rob Reiner’s films are always at the top of my list.
A Legacy of Laughter and Heart
Rob Reiner was a comedic genius, and his films have brought me (and countless others) so much joy over the years. From “This Is Spinal Tap” to “When Harry Met Sally”, “The Princess Bride”, and “A Few Good Men”, he’s left an indelible mark on the world of comedy and film. And let’s not forget his more serious work, like “Stand by Me” and “Misery”, which showcased his range as a director.
My Personal Connection
As a dad, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing many of these films with my kids, and watching them laugh and grow alongside me. “The Princess Bride” is a family favorite, and we’ve watched it together countless times. The “As you wish” moment never gets old! Rob Reiner’s films have a way of bringing people together, and I’m so grateful to have grown up with his work.
Rest in Peace, Rob Reiner
I’ll be back with more stay-at-home dad shenanigans, TV reviews, and life hacks. Stay domestic, my friends!
